As a Cripps customer, you can enjoy distillery experiences at a preferential rate. Choose from a number of unique and exciting experiences. Choose from a distillery tour and gin tasting with the Hawkridge team, to attending gin making school, in which you will be taught how to use a still, select your own botanicals and make your very own gin. For those of you wishing to use the experience to enhance the experience of your guests on your wedding day, why not use the visit to create and make your own wedding favour miniature gins.

Learn to make gin from the best. Join a 2 hour session with our multi-award winning distilling team in which you will take charge of a special custom built 5L alembic still on which you will develop and distil your very own unique London Dry Gin. Lessons for one and shared sessions for two (on one still) are available.

Visit the Hawkridge distillery in its beautiful 17th Century converted tithe barn and meet the Hawkridge team where one of our qualified distillers will welcome you.
The tour begins with a short history of gin making and an overview of our distillery business.
Thereafter, we will lead you around our facility, giving you a detailed description of our traditional gin production processes.
You will be able to taste the award-winning Cripps and Hawkridge spirits prior to finishing the tour with a perfectly prepared gin and tonic!

Wedding Favour Making
Use your visit to the beautiful Hawkridge Distillery to create something unique and memorable for your wedding guests.
Learn from some of the best distillers in the country how to develop a beautiful gin recipe, distill your own gin and have the Hawkridge team put your creation in miniature 5cl bottles, which you can generously gift as wedding favours.
Your day will include a welcome gin and tonic, a distillery tour and a 1-to-2-hour session on our copper alembic stills, creating your very own spirit masterpiece. Pricing is dependent on the number of favours required.
Donnington Valley
Golf Course
Donnington Valley Golf Course is widely regarded as a hidden gem. An 18 hole course set in beautiful rolling countryside with a challenging 6296 yards, 18 hole, par 71 from the back tees. Although some of the holes are quite forgiving the closing four are regarded as one of the toughest finishes in the country.

Mountain Bike Trails
Swinley Forest is 40 minutes from Hawkridge Distillery and has 24km of 'free-to-ride' purpose built, all weather way-marked mountain bike trails that nestle and follow the forest's natural ebb and flow.
The trails are suitable for riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and for all sorts of bikes from fat-tyred mountain bikes to kid’s bikes, to those wishing to explore on an adventure drop bar style of bike.
The trails are built from quarried material onsite that allow the trails to run brilliantly in all weathers making them the perfect for a rainy-day activity or a blast in the sunshine with your mates. Bike hire is available at the Forest.
The Ridgeway

Known as “Britain’s oldest road”, the ridgeway is an ancient trackway extending from Wiltshire to Buckinghamshire through some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes.
Access to the Ridgeway is within 3 miles of Hawkridge Distillery making it a perfect choice for a day or a few hours of cycling and hiking.
